Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the CD release show last night.  It was a very memorable show for us and we were thrilled to have so many friends (old and new) there with us.  Kingfield, Attention and Down And Above were all amazing and are some of the finest human beings currently performing rock music anywhere in the known universe.  It blew our minds to hear people singing along to the new songs - you’ve warmed our bitter old hearts.  The staff at the Triple Rock was awesome as always, dealing with major technical hurdles and making it look easy and sound great.  We’re looking forward to playing there again in a month for the BWR 10-year anniversary show.

Greetings once again from Seconds Before HQ.  As the summer winds
down, there are a few things left to look forward to.  Free outdoor
air conditioning, non-stop political campaigning, “purple angst” - the
list goes on and on.  But the thing we are looking forward to the most
is the CD release show for our newest full length album, Change Is The

We’re happy to present a track from our forthcoming album Change Is The Only Constant entitled “Character Assassin”. You can hear it at myspace.com/secondsbefore.  Since we’re not currently beholden to firm release schedules, the record pretty much comes out once we get them back from manufacturing and can get them into our various distribution channels, so you can expect the new tunes to be available through CDBaby and other online retailers, plus all the major digital download services including iTunes, Rhapsody, and eMusic starting in late July through early August.  We’re planning a CD release show for early September and should have all the details here for you soon.  We are really proud of this record and can’t wait for you to hear it.

a couple of big shows coming up later this month. we are happy to be part of the celebration of the new cd from our good friends down and above. that show will be held at the fine line on friday, feb 22 and will also feature dropping daylight and attention. after that we’re playing with boston’s bang camaro as they tear through minneapolis on their us tour. bang camaro are literally one of the biggest bands in rock with a whopping 20 members in the band. that show is going to be a blast - be there at the 7th street entry on wednesday, feb 27 for the rock insanity.

vocal tracking and initial mixing for the new album are well under way. we’ll have an album title and tracklisting to share soon, so stay tuned.
